Pitched EnerGrid — a smart energy-monitoring concept that tracks real-time power consumption per device to cut waste and lower household bills — placing 2nd of 20+ teams and earning a cash prize and recognition from Riyada’s Chairperson.

2024
Omantel × Hafeet Rail Hackathon
Co-designed and prototyped a concept for an IoT smart waste-sorting bin: a near-infrared (NIR/MIR) scanner identifies each item and a sorting arm routes recyclables (PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP) into five compartments, while per-compartment fill sensors report to the cloud over NB-IoT on Omantel’s network. A 4-day team build under pressure.
2023 – 2024
Injaz Oman Entrepreneurship Programme
Reached the national pre-finals with student startup “Techno Water”; exhibited at Al Arefan City, Muscat before industry leaders and investors.
